PEP Global Online Trade Policy & Quality Assurance Standard
1. Indtroduction
PEP Global Online is committed to facilitating transparent and trustworthy trade between global exporters and international buyers.This Trade Policy outlines the standard terms and procedures that govern transactions on our platform, with a specific focus on our quality assurance measures.
2. Order Fulfillment Principle
The supplier/exporter is solely responsible for manufacturing,packaging, and shipping the goods in strict accordance with the specifications, quality standards, and delivery timelines agreed upon in the Proforma Invoice (PI) or purchase agreement.
3. PEP Global Online Quality Assurance Inspection Service
To mitigate risk and build buyer confidence, PEP Global Online offers a mandatory pre-shipment inspection service for all transactions facilitated through our platform.
3.1 Objective of Inspection
The primary objective of our inspection is to provide visual verification that the goods to be shipped conform to the key details outlined in the Proforma Invoice or agreed specifications.This serves as a critical checkpoint before payment is released and shipment is dispatched.
3.2 Scope of Inspection: What We Check
- Our inspection service includes,but is not limited to, verifying the following:
- Product Quantity: The total quantity of goods matches the order.
- Product Type & Model: The items correspond to the descriptions and model numbers in the agreement.
- Workmanship & Finish: A visual check for major defects in assembly, stitching, construction, or surface finish.
- Materials: A visual verification that the materials used (e.g., wood, metal, fabric) appear consistent with what was ordered.
- Branding & Labeling: Correct logos, labels, and packaging as specified.
- Packaging & Marking: Verification that the export packaging (cartons, pallets, etc.) and shipping marks are appropriate and as agreed.
- General Conformity: An overall assessment to ensure the goods are as per the sample or description provided.
3.3 Deliverables from Inspection
- Upon completion of the inspection,the buyer will receive a comprehensive inspection report containing:
- Digital Photographs: Clear, high-resolution pictures of the goods, packaging, and any specific details or identified issues.
- Video Documentation: A short video walk-through of the shipment, providing a holistic view of the goods and their condition.
4. Important Limitations & Exclusions
- It is crucial for all parties to understand the limitations of our inspection service:
- No Laboratory Testing: This inspection is visual only. It does not include any laboratory tests, chemical analysis, material composition verification, performance/functionality tests, load tests, or detailed mechanical inspections.
- Sampling-Based: For large shipments, inspection may be conducted on a statistically significant sample rather than every single unit.
- Non-Intrusive: Our inspectors will not disassemble products or perform any destructive testing.
5. Buyer's Acknowledgment
- By proceeding with an order through PEP Global Online,the buyer acknowledges and agrees that:
- They have received and understood the scope and limitations of the pre-shipment inspection.
- The inspection report (photos/videos) is the primary tool for verifying conformity before shipment.
- PEP Global Online's liability is limited to the accurate reporting of the visual inspection as described herein.
